The Ascent is 3.4km with a steep section to start that lasts around 0.7km.

There is a tight and twisty section...

which then eases out into longer sweeping curves...

Mid Section

and finally sweeps up to the finish.

End Section

The return journey down the hill will be with a motorcycle escort.

Start In the top half of the coach park just above the entrance to Cheddar Caves.
On the line by the Pay and Display sign

First section.
A steep climb for 0.6 miles (timekeeper) with a gradient of 16%.

Not so steep but still a constant uphill drag with sweeping bends.

At the field gate marked private. Weather permitting this will also be in use for finish officials and spectator car parking

There is plenty of parking at the HQ, which is within easy riding distance.
We also have exclusive use of the car parks on the course.
There are 5 big parks in the first section and plenty of smaller ones along the course.
Access to these will remain open until 9:40, but once you are there you will have to remain there until the event is over.

Please leave the town centre car parks free for the use of the towns normal visitors.
